Also offers support for parents of LGBT/questioning kids and for children of LGBT parents.
Back to TopDescription: Y-HEP is teens talking to teens about HIV and sexual health; it’s about prevention, protection, and planning ahead. Y-HEP provides education for young people about HIV and AIDS, other sexually transmitted diseases, risk reduction, negotiation skills, peer pressure, unplanned pregnancies, and health resources. Teen outreach workers set up sites in different neighborhoods, shopping malls, and local hangouts to distribute condoms and HIV/AIDS-related information and offer health referrals. Y-HEP also offers mobile HIV antibody testing; workshops about safer sex, HIV, relationships and self-esteem; and support groups for young people to talk about sexual health and many related issues in a safe environment.

Description: This center provides adoption services as an alternative to abortion or parenting for persons experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. Birth parents are supported by the counseling process while designing their individual plan for adoption.
